Building the future of our country means creating the conditions in which today’s and tomorrow’s young people from the South can live and work, realize their projects, develop their communities, and identify with a national context that ensures them a perspective of civil, social, and cultural development. In other words, charting a path that ensures fair personal and collective growth prospects for young people from the South, where everyone can make their constructive contribution to the overall design of national society. It is to this theme that the Merita Foundation dedicated the conference “Agenda Sud 2030 \u2013 Youth Work Future” held in Naples at the Gallerie d’Italia on May 5 and 6, 2023, bringing together leading national experts and key figures from political, institutional, entrepreneurial, and scientific life. This volume presents their contributions to the discussion of the four necessary conditions, which play a significant role in the future of new generations: education and training, infrastructure, work, and enterprise.
