She holds a PhD in Economic History, Demography, Society and Institutions of Mediterranean Countries from the University of Calabria. Her research interests focus on the history of institutions and social and economic inequalities, with particular attention to Southern Italy and marginal areas. She also deals with business history and entrepreneurship.
